Some people carry knives as weapons, but you sure don't--not here in New York! But, maybe you have one with you for your job or daily tasks. What if you're attacked, and you need to use it to defend yourself?
Doesn't have to be a tactical knife, switchblade, butterfly knife, karambit, or any other bladed item designed specifically as a weapon. In fact, those probably aren't legal for you to have on you! We mean a utility tool, a box cutter, or a basic pocketknife that can be legally carried where you live and work.
In addition to helping to clarify the haze of New York knife laws, this class will cover aspects of responsible daily carry that many people will never have considered. You'll train to efficiently access and deploy your utility knife, or similar tool, from where you normally carry it, and to then react effectively with it, in a truly defensive context.
Limited openings! Early registration is recommended.
$60 per person. Law Enforcement/Military/Seniors save $5. Modern Warrior students save $10.

(Unlike other classes at Modern Warrior, this class WILL involve live blades. You are invited to bring your own tool of the sort described above, which you will use for portions of the content, and you are encouraged to dress the way you typically dress while carrying that tool. All live blade training will be conducted safely, under strict instructor supervision, and at NO point will students deploy live blades without the explicit permission of the instructors.)
