Barry (Mooseface) Culpepper : a big man, with an even bigger heart. The roots of Modern Warrior stretch waaay back to 1981, when Barry encouraged Phil to open the school. We still haven't figured out whether it was a stroke of genius - or if he just got tired of being the only one Phil got to beat up. Either way, he was Phil's first official student, and he's never left. (We've tried to get rid of him, but he keeps coming back.) A dedicated friend, and a superior martial artist, having earned his black belt in 1985, Barry has assisted with countless classes over the years.
