Tactical Edged Weapons Defense 2 day Course :
Monday and Tuesday, June 1 & 2, 2009
9 am – 5 pm both days

Participants will learn simple concepts to defend against all types of edged weapons from different angles of attack. Practical and realistic, easy to learn and easy to remember and employ under stress.

Firearm Retention and Gun Disarming 2 day Course :
Monday and Tuesday, July 27 & 28, 2009
9 am – 5 pm both days

Unlike any other course offered anywhere. With minimal practice, participants learn to retain their weapon blindfolded! In this way, it becomes an instinctive reaction to protect and retain the firearm, whether holstered or from the hand.

This class will include (time permitting) disarming opponents with handguns, from the front, rear, sides and from different distances, as well as long guns, plus how to deal with the most difficult hostage situations. This very practical course is great for lighter and smaller officers because the training is based on leverage, not strength.

Officers should bring gun belt and holster. Practice (plastic) firearm optional, but recommended.

Tactical Groundfighting 3 day Course :

A full 40 hour course in which Defensive Tactics trainers will learn concepts that are vital for them to be completely familiar with in order to be the most effective trainer possible.

These concepts include, but are not limited to, Physio-kinetics™, Time Framing, Multiple Assailant Confrontation, Edged Weapons Defense, Instinctive Firearm Retention and Gun Disarming, Firearm Alternative Survival Tactics (FAST), Tactical Groundfighting and Confrontational Handcuffing.

Liability protection is discussed throughout different points in the course with the main emphasis on developing and sharpening the instructor’s various teaching and defensive tactics skills.
